This Thanksgiving Day, as the Denton Turkey Trot runners ran by our church, we offered them a cup of cold water. It was an act of hospitality to the runners that turned out to be a blessing for all. The volunteers passing out water were so touched by the gratitude and love express by the runners. In turn, the runners shouted out their thanks even if they were not stopping for water. Though it did not rain as it was forecast to, there was a shower of love going on.
